year completed:

Abbott Ikeler's site needed to be functional for a variety of users, from literary agents to general readership, and across many demographics, from millennials to boomers. I organized the writings by genre and completion date. Literary agents are not only able to view completed works, but also see that newer pieces are in progress. Through this organizational process I was able to provide users with the tools they need to not only view interior pages of each work, but read testimonials and purchase published books through third party vendors.

In addition to the website, I built a brand identity that is timeless and well-received by all demographics. I did so by using a classic typeface and a mark that can be attributed to the look of a typewritten piece.

"I came to Kim with a strong desire to establish a digital presence, but with little experience and a cluster of half-formed ideas. Within a month, she'd designed a website that was not only clean, coherent and beautiful, but one flexible enough to accommodate a challenging variety of content and friendly enough to service a wide range of users. Into the bargain, for lower than I expected to pay, Kim also created an elegant logo and first-class stationery to enhance the brand identity I was looking for. Easy to work with. Quick to respond. Thoroughly professional. Kim gets five stars from me."
